It's the SMALL Things

I have always known that Jackson has a heart of GOLD but tonight it really hit me. Last week, Jackson asked about adopting a friend from his class at school. He is a little boy named Keyshawn. Keyshawn lives at the Baptist Children's Home and Jackson is familiar with a few kids that live there. His inspiration started when he heard of Nennie going to a get together of a little boy in her class that was being adopted from there and Jackson has been asking ever since about getting Keyshawn. I shared this inspiration with JJ tonight and we are going to see what we can do...1. To be able to go spend time with Keyshawn over Christmas break and definately visit him on Christmas Day or 2. To be able to go pick up Keyshawn quite a bit over the break as well as Christmas Day just so he has someone to spend the holidays with. Jackson was very emotional when we discussed this plan with him which, in turn, just broke mine and JJ's heart!!! We have decided that we will do whatever is necessary to make something happen. WOW, just makes you realize that all of the things that we have really dont matter. It is only the small things like this that really make a difference!
